Saturday night when he was at the Halloween Safehouse thing with his dad he’s a fire fighter a 9th grader girl asked him for his number, not knowing how old he was at the time. They were texting eachother, I guess. And my neice just tells me that he is now dating the 9th grader girl and I guess she knows he’s just She’s like Idk, I think this is kinda wrong imo. The maturity level in that girl has to be much greater than that of my nephew’s, so what does she want to be with him for?

A recent study of teens living in northeast Georgia found that early dating interferes with school success and leads to other bad things. The Healthy Teens Longitudinal Study followed over students for seven years, from the sixth through 12th grades. It looked at frequency of dating in relationship to high school dropout rates and teacher ratings of study skills.

While I have memories of my now year-old self being years old, I have learned that the year-old kids of today are not the sort that I or any generation preceding mine were. I can say this with a considerable amount of confidence and insight given that I am raising a year-old daughter who is in fifth grade.
